We're Married!!!

It's official! Tyson and I are married! Most of you who read this already know because you were there at the wedding. Hee hee! The day was wonderful. Not a cloud in the sky. A little chilly, but an overall beautiful day and beautiful wedding.

Tyson and I want to thank everyone who were able to make it out to our wedding. It was so wonderful to see everyone and reconnect with family and friends. We hope everyone had a great time.

Overall, we're enjoying married life so far. We both agreed that we actually DO feel different even though we've been together since we were 15. We didn't think it would feel any different, but it does. We're so much more in love and SO happy. Tyson is adjusting to the fact that he has a ring on his finger (he's not used to wearing rings). He says it feels strange. Of course, I'm LOVING my wedding set, and I've gotten so many compliments from the ladies at school.

JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW...

One of our best friends (and fantastic photographer), Lauren, who was so gracious enough to be our photographer, has a blog with some previews of our wedding. She will be posting some of our pictures on the blog for our family and friends to see. She's in the process of getting all of our pictures "picture perfect." Also, in three weeks, Tyson and I are going to do some bridal shots to capture some photos we wanted to take, but didn't have time to do at the wedding. If you scroll down on our blog and look to the right of the screen under My Blog List, you will see Lauren's photography blog as:

As soon as Tyson and I get the photos all situated, we will be posting them under our Picasa photo website. I will get the link to you as soon as the photos are available.

Other than that, even though the wedding is over, Tyson and I will continue this blog to update everyone on married life, and the possibility of babies. :) That won't be for a while though. We will see. We hope everyone had a safe trip home and have caught up on some rest. We love you all!

Sincerely,

Mr. and Mrs. Tyson Sutton

Wedding Weather Worries!.....and 24th B-day...

AHHHH!!! I could just very well lose my mind right now. I've been checking the weather for our wedding day for a solid week/week and a half, and for that solid week/week and a half, it said that it had a 60% chance of showers on our wedding day. BOOOO!!! You can only imagine the STRESS I've been under, and over STUPID rain on my wedding day! THEN! Today, I check the weather.com thing again, and told me that it would be sunny with only a 10% chance of rain on my wedding day. I started to jump up and down like CRAZY thinking, "YES!!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!" Annnnnnnd.....the best part was that the chances of rain throughout the end of the wedding week were dwindling.

Well, then, like an overly worried and stressed bride, I checked the weather AGAIN tonight, and guess what it said..................60% SHOWERS!!!!!!!!!! And THEN, more rain throughout that night. Over the past couple of days, it said it would rain, but that it would fizzle out by the end of the night. BUT NO! Now, it says it will rain non-stop. I think I'm going to go nutty! Someone PLEASE make me feel better. I'm so sad right now.....and stressed on top of everything that will be going on, on the week of my wedding. I'm thinking I will have no hair to put up in an up-do on March 28th. UGH! So frustrating!!!!!!! Maybe I just need to stop looking at weather.com every day. But, then, that will drive me crazy not being able to check it.

On a good note, Tyson and I got our marriage license today! Yay!!! It's becoming more and more real. I know I say that a lot........BUT IT IS! :) Also, another good note....TOMORROW IS MY BIRTHDAY!!! YAY!!! I'm turning 24, and I can't believe it! Tomorrow night, Tyson and I will be heading to my parents to have a birthday BBQ for me. My whole family from Michigan is in town, so, about 9 of us will be there to celebrate my birthday! I'm so excited! I can't wait to see my Uncle Don and my dad hanging out together. It's going to be soooooo funny. And, Uncle Don, if you're reading this.....I CAN'T WAIT to see you two together again. It's entertainment!

Well, I'm off to go de-stress. I'll keep updating everyone on my weather worries! Yikes!

So Close!

Well! As I'm writing this blog, Tyson and I are officially 14 days away from our wedding!!! WOW!!! From here on out, we will be super busy. I just began my spring break starting today! Thank goodness!!!!! I'm so tired and need a break. Tyson has bike school all of this upcoming week while I'm on spring break, so we won't really be able to get the last minute wedding details planned together. We still have to figure out a good day and time to go get our marriage license since this upcoming week is the only week we can do it. I'm back in school teaching the following week......so that wouldn't work since I'm there past the time the county clerk's office closes.

So! This week, the big thing on our to-do list is to get our marriage license! Ahhh!!! SO CRAZY!!! It's becoming REALLY real now! I finally picked up my wedding dress from the alterations, and OH BOY! Last month, when I went to get it altered, I had the lady really tighten it up. I really wanted to be sandwiched in my dress. Two days ago when I went to pick it up, I tried it on, and it was most definitely snug!!! Now, I'm really under pressure to maintain my weight. If I gain anything, I'm in TROUBLE because it is already so tight! I sort of regret the fact that I didn't ask the lady to just leave a tiny bit of room in case I were to gain a little. I only have 2 weeks left. I don't think it should be that bad. Maybe the last minute stress will cause me to lose some extra pounds. Who knows?!

Tyson and I would like to thank everyone who R.S.V.P'd to the wedding. We can't wait to see everyone!!! We also enjoyed seeing all of the interesting, creative ways you all came up with writing your names on th R.S.V.P. cards since they were that dark brown. I mean, we had people writing with silver puff paints, white out, white crayon, and MUCH MORE! Tyson and I LOVED all of the creativity. HA! HA!

Well, as I said, Tyson and I will be VERY busy before our wedding. Not only will we be busy with the rest of the planning, Tyson will be in bike school, and I will be teaching all the way up until our wedding. Also, I'm under a lot of stress because the week of our wedding, I will be going to two job fairs to hunt for a teaching job. One of the job fairs is ON my wedding day. How wonderful is that?!!? (sarcasm) But, I'm dedicated, and I want a teaching job really bad, so I want to be able to hand my resume to principals at some of the schools, and get my name out there in Conroe ISD. So, basically, on my wedding day, I will be waking up very early, attend the job fair (which I have heard is completely busy and stressful), then rush to the hair salon to get my hair done, and finish getting ready for the wedding. What a crazy, yet stressful, day. Wish me luck! I'm going to need a glass of wine to relax while I sit in the salon chair getting my hair done.

Until then, hopefully I will be able to get a few more blogs in before the wedding to keep everyone updated on our final days as an engaged couple. We hope everyone is doing well!
